Hand Stamped 4 Corners Box - Indigo

This Signature Hand Stamped Four Corners box from Made Solid was influenced by traditional leather working styles and Japanese culture. Each box is hand cut & made by using traditional western saddle making techniques. Each stamp is done by hand with a vintage 50's saddle maker's stamp and mimics a traditional Japanese koi scale pattern.  

• Signature Four Corners Box featured a repeating scallop stamp pattern
• Each stamp is done by hand with a vintage 50's saddle maker's stamp inherited by designer Peter Maxwell
• The repetition of this stamp mimics a traditional Japanese koi scale pattern seen on kites, kimonos, and tattoos
• The stamped pattern is then hand dyed in Japanese indigo
